About Us
Situated just south of Chesterfield, Tupton is a warm and welcoming village and Tupton Primary School is at the centre of village life.
First established in 1875 Tupton Primary School provides a rich, vibrant learning environment for all its pupils, who come both from and beyond the village. The school consists of the main school building, and two additional blocks housing classrooms and a nurture room. It also has a purpose built Nursery adjacent to the main building which provides an excellent start for children who are three and four years of age. There is much space for play and sport at our school, and we are also very excited about the new Children’s Centre which will be built on site during the next year, further improving the facilities we can offer to our pupils and to the local community in partnership with Sure Start.
