There will be three further training days to be allocated and parents will be informed as soon as these are decided.
If you have a child in Y2 or Y6, we ask you not to book holidays in May as this is when SAT’s occur. It takes the whole of May to administer Y2 SAT’s and the Y6 children have several weeks of revision prior to the tests.
Holiday authorisation can only be given for a maximum of 10 school days (with the exception of the above) in any one school year, providing your child achieves good attendance throughout the year. Permission must be obtained from the school prior to the holiday – holiday request forms are available from the school office.
